Join Our Team as a Marketing Strategist (Part Time)

At Ainsley, the Marketing Strategist works closely with our clients to develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives that will fuel their growth and help them reach their goals. The Strategist will work with a multi-functional team of creatives, assisted by one of our Project Managers, to build and implement those initiatives based on an audit of the client’s goals, current marketing assets, best practices and market analysis.

This role is currently part time, contract based, and can be done remotely.


  • Create an overall strategic marketing plan for our clients and manage the implementation of that plan on a day-to-day basis with the assistance of the Project Manager
  • Craft the brand positioning and core messaging that will differentiate your clients from their competitors and help them stand out in the marketplace
  • Build strong personal relationships with clients based on trust and performance
  • Provide value to client relationships by researching marketing trends and project requests, evaluating them against clients’ goals and objectives
  • Participate in internal client kick-off meetings profiling the client, their business, and their goals to our entire creative team
  • Work in conjunction with the Project Manager assigned to each client to ensure all work is delivered on time and according to expectations and the agreed-upon marketing strategy
  • Work with clients to set goals and expectations for results, and provide guidance as to how to measure success for each tactic that is a part of their overall strategic marketing plan
  • Review work product from the creative team to ensure all deliverables (digital ad, website, commercial, landing page, podcast, social ad, etc.) are consistent with the expectations of the client, their brand and voice, and the requirements of the assignment/creative brief
  • Find new opportunities within existing clients to expand relationships
  • Work with prospective clients to recommend strategy and tactics for new engagements with our firm
  • Present capabilities and coordinate, attend, and contribute to intro/pitch meetings including preparation of pitch materials



  • At least 7-10 years of marketing experience developing strategic marketing plans and tactical marketing programs for a variety of industries in a consulting, account management, or sales environment with an agency, consulting firm, or internal agency
  • Proven track record in developing marketing programs that have contributed to increased revenue, lead generation, and customer retention
  • An understanding of both traditional and digital advertising tactics/channels
  • A passion for continuously learning and finding new ways to help clients grow
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills – you will be responsible for setting your clients’ initial messaging, and presenting those recommendations to them in person
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams, meet deadlines, and exceed expectations
  • Motivated self-starter/autonomous worker
  • Undergraduate degree
