As a small, senior-led agency, we partner with growth-focused organizations to lead brand strategy, digital campaigns, web projects, and everything in between.
We’re looking for a Strategic Account Manager to own key client relationships, help guide marketing priorities, and ensure every hour in a client’s retainer drives real value. You’ll be the face of the agency for 2–3 accounts, balancing strategy and execution, helping clients make smart decisions, and aligning our internal team around deadlines, deliverables, and results.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on trust, communication, and clarity—someone who can run the room, translate vague ideas into real plans, and deliver both accountability and insight.
Serve as the primary point of contact for 2–3 clients, leading the day-to-day relationship
Translate client goals into clear marketing plans, briefs, and next steps
Shape and lead weekly or biweekly client check-ins—driving the conversation, not just taking notes
Collaborate with our founder on strategy, messaging, and big-picture planning
Help clients prioritize work within a time-scoped retainer, flagging overages and managing scope as needed
Monitor project timelines, budget burn, and deliverables in collaboration with our VP of Operations
Identify opportunities to add value—whether that’s a campaign idea, a process improvement, or a strategic risk we should head off
4–7 years of experience in marketing, account management, or consulting
Strong written and verbal communication skills—you can simplify complexity and tell a clear story
Confident, empathetic, and grounded—you know how to earn trust and lead conversations
Strategic thinker with enough marketing fluency to talk brand, campaigns, creative, and digital execution
Organized and entrepreneurial—you’re energized by ownership and aren’t afraid to make decisions
Bonus points for agency or consulting experience, and for experience working with B2B clients
Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, WordPress, Google Ads, and LinkedIn Ads is a plus
We’re a small shop by design. You’ll work directly with senior team members, have a voice in how we grow, and help shape meaningful work with clients who care.
You won’t be a traffic manager—you’ll be a strategic partner. This role blends account management, project direction, and business consulting. You’ll help our clients win by helping them focus.
Our team is located in Raleigh, NC and Baltimore, MD, and the majority of our clients are based in Boston, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, D.C., Virginia, and North Carolina. Most of our work is remote, but occasional travel for strategic planning sessions, video shoots, or key events is part of the job. Expect a few days of travel per month, max.
